Progress in the sanctuary has escalated quickly this week. Once the volunteers removed the pews and carpet on Monday and Tuesday the painting began almost immediately. There have been may volunteers here all week during the day and into the evenings painting. It’s amazing how paint makes a project really come together.

Here are a few snap shots of the work happening this week:

This Sunday could be the most challenging in terms of service set up. The plan is to set up chairs in the sanctuary and use that for the services. However, please be understanding and bear with us as the fellowship hall will likely not be able to be used for fellowship time this week.

We hope you enjoy the progress as much as we do. It might smell like paint in here, but it’s a small inconvenience for big improvement.

Update on the financials:

We have collected a total of $84,636.23 for the sanctuary project to-date. Our goal is to have the total project amount raised by Easter Sunday.

If you would like to make a pledge to contribute a specific amount throughout the year  for the sanctuary remodel project, stop by the table in the back to pick up a pledge form. Fill it out and drop it in the offering plate or in the church office.

DON’T FORGET TO VOTE ON CHAIR THE PROPOSAL: There is a box in the back of the sanctuary to place your vote for the proposed chairs to replace the pews. A “YES” vote is for chairs.  A “NO” vote is not for chairs.  Must be a voting member of the church.  Only one vote per individual. Please check your name next to the list on the table next to the box after you’ve voted.

Have a great weekend…see you Sunday!
