The work on the sanctuary project continued steadily this week. Jim Johnson and his crew joined the team as they began the drywall work in the sanctuary. In addition, John Luhring has been working diligently to get all of the wires run for the audio and video equipment. Verlen Oelmann, Kim Dix, Orlyn Marks, Jan Thomas, and others are also here regularly seeing the project through. We are so blessed to have so many gifted workers among our church family.
Below are a few pictures of the progress this week:

A proposal was made on Sunday to replace the pews with chairs while we are in the updating process. It was mentioned that there will be an opportunity to vote on this (possibly this Sunday). Please prayerfully consider this proposal.
The goal is to have the total for the project raised by Easter Sunday. If you would you like to make a pledge to contribute a specific amount throughout the year, stop by the table in the back to pick up a pledge form. Fill it out and drop it in the offering plate or in the church office.
Finally, the next couple of weeks will be work heavy as we want to have most the project (if not all of it) completed by Easter Sunday as well. Painting and carpet removal will begin next week. Those of you that signed up to help with this stage the project will likely be contacted soon.
Thank you again for all of the support and prayers for this project. It is such a joy to come to work each day and see it moving along.
